This year we recognized our graduating seniors from the Class of 2010 at a special Mass on May 30th.  Forty-two letters of invitation were sent out and we were honored by the nine who attended and allowed us to pray with them. Those attending included Tara Bachy, Jacob Benedict, Matt Blon, Michael Bornak, Melissa Caprino, Sean Cowles, Jessica Henry, Shane Kelly and Mallory Merda.  We presented them with a "Graduates Prayer" and a gift card to Barnes and Noble.  Also recognized were Tara Bachy, the recipient of the Kinsey Scholarship; with the three Chrisitan Mother Scholarships going to Matt Blon, Jess Henry, and Shane Kelly.  Congatulations!  And congratulations and best wishes to all of our High School graduates.

Congratulations also to Jessica Henry and Sean Cowles who have been selected to receive the Parish Youth Ministry Recognition pin from Bishop Brandt at the Youth Ministry celebration on July 18th at the Cathedral.  They were chosen because they "live as a disciple of Christ", they "witness their faith by exhibitin morals and integrity, demonstrate Gospel values through service of others, and exhibit Christian leadership".  We already knew that. It is wonderful that the Diocese sees that as well.  CONGRATULATIONS, Jess and Sean.
